A Little bit about us
Yorebridge House is situated in the village of Bainbridge, in the heart of Wensleydale, in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. The buildings are flanked by two rivers, The Ure and The Bain, and sits proudly next to the grand Yorebridge. David and Charlotte bought the buildings in 2006 from the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority who had used the buildings as their Head Office for many years. After an 18 month floor to ceiling renovation David and Charlotte had created the beautiful boutique hotel and restaurant Yorebridge House is today, restoring its many original features and enhancing its wonderful rooms with contemporary interior design. Since opening, the hotel and restaurant have attracted attention from far and wide and have received many awards such as Small Hotel of the Year, Restaurant of the Year, Romantic Hotel of the Year and many more.

Established in 1982 by a group of 12 passionate hoteliers, PoB Hotels today has grown to over 50 city-based, countryside and coastal locations. They’re all about pairing each guest with an experience that’s extraordinary and unique, so all members are inspected annually to ensure they live up to the PoB standard. Plus, admission of new members is subject to successfully passing an anonymous overnight inspection and a ballot of the membership.
In 2022, PoB Hotels partnered with EarthCheck, the leading global sustainability certification programme. This step formalises an ongoing commitment to responsible travel and an effort to promote sustainable practices across its collection.
